The talented singer and songwriter, 24, dropped out of American Idol back in 2018 and has been perfecting his craft ready for his return.
Who is Drake Milligan from AGT 2022?
America's Got Talent star Drake Milligan is a Texas native raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
His father runs a scrap yard, while his mother is a veterinarian.
Drake's favorite activities as a kid were hunting and fishing and he names Alan Jackson, Dwight Yoakam and Elvis Presley as his major influences, according to Taste of Country.
He ended up taking on the role of his idol Elvis in 2017, starring in the TV series, Sun Records, showing off his likeness and musical talents.

Drake has since moved to Nashville after finding a passion for country music, before releasing a five-song self-titled EP in 2021.
It proved a hit with fans and featured songs like Kiss Goodbye All Night and Over Drinkin' Under Thinkin'.
He auditioned for AGT season 17, just before his 24th birthday.
Drake wowed the judges when he performed his original song, Sounds Like Something I’d Do, with his band by his side.

Drake was picked by the judges to be in the final 55 and has now made it through to the finale in AGT.
When was Drake Milligan on American Idol?
Drake auditioned for season 16 of American Idol back in 2018 and ended up earning a Golden Ticket.
His rendition of George Strait’s “You Look So Good in Love," won over the nation, but the then 19-year-old shockingly pulled out of the show.
Explaining his decision to depart before heading to Hollywood Week, he told supporters he wanted to "focus on his music first".
He wrote on Instagram: “Been getting a lot of questions about no longer appearing on American Idol after my audition, just thought I’d let y’all know what’s goin’ on!
“After my audition, I decided that I wasn’t quite ready for that platform yet and that it would be a better step for me to move to Nashville and focus on my music first!”
Four years later, Drake has now returned for redemption to America's Got Talent.
