What has Angel Strawbridge said about having children with Dick?
While she was happy to become a mother, Angel has admitted that the change motherhood brought into her life was overwhelming.
Speaking to podcast Sweat, Snot & Tears hosts Annie and Wendy on October 18, 2021, she confessed to struggling with her feelings after becoming a mum.
"The biggest change when I did feel a little bit isolated was when I had my first child", she said.
"Because I was just like: 'right, your whole life changes completely.'"
"By the time I moved to France, I was in a different mental state from before I had children."
"I think if you're going to do a move to somewhere like this, you really have to be ready for it."
Her move to France also led to a change to her social life, which has only exacerbated when the Covid pandemic came along.
Describing herself as a former "social butterfly", Angel said she prefers spending quality time with her family at the chateau.
