ASHLEY Cole has sold the luxury mansion he used to share with ex-wife Cheryl.

The footballer now lives in America where he plays for LA Galaxy and no longer needs the sprawling Surrey mansion, which he bought from entrepeneur David Gilbert for just over £3million.

Ashley, 36, shared the home with Cheryl, 33, during their four year marriage from 2006 until they split in 2010.

It boasts an indoor pool, cinema room and its own football pitch, but Ashley had to accept a lower offer than the £7.5 million asking price.

For their money, the new owners will also get a quad track, sauna, jacuzzi, snooker room and a whopping eight bedrooms.

Meanwhile the posh kitchen features a huge island in the middle and overlooks a living and dining area.

One of the bathrooms has a massive glass walk in shower with his and hers rain shower heads, plus a raised up bath surrounded by marble.

The former Chelsea player moved across the pond in January last year to play for LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer.

He now has a home in Los Angeles which he shares with girlfriend Sharon Canu and their son who was born in February last year.

Last month, Sharon was spotted with a 'baby bump', leading to speculation the couple are expecting their second child together.

The couple enjoyed a family day out in California, with the doting dad riding a bike with a baby trailer attached, while Sharon walked alongside him.

Ashley is believed to have met Sharon while he was playing for Italy's AS Roma back in 2014.

He has kept their romance out of the spotlight, and they never commented on Sharon's first pregnancy, which was first reported back in December 2015.

Even as speculation about baby number two continues, the couple have so far refused to reveal the name of their first born.

Meanwhile ex-wife Cheryl welcomed her first child with boyfriend Liam Payne - son Bear - in March this year.
